The woodfinishing course is currently being planned and should go live in the Spring.
It will look at the final stages of preparing a piece of furniture. This includes sanding, repairs and staining as initial phases before applying a protective coating in the form of an a wax, oil or lacquer.
We will discuss which protects and materials will suit each finish depending on factors such as durability and ease of application.
By the end of the course you will have a series of samples that you can use to compare the different finishes.
